Business After Hours at Cliff View

June 28, 2023

BAH CliffView

A business after-hours event last week at the Cliff View Inn and Brewhouse in Falling Spring. Jen Mann, left, manager of the inn, highlighted a history of the property, along with changes and improvements made there since its original use as a family farm. The property was improved with the creation of a nine-hole golf course in 1996. A second nine holes was added in 1998 and the inn was opened in 2000. The brewhouse opened two years ago. “Here at Cliff View, we are building a customized experience that can be geared toward any customer,” Mann said. She talked to chamber members about the struggles, successes and pitfalls of being a small business owner in an ever-changing economy and cultural landscape. Mann said the business is looking to expand its offerings in the future, to possibly include a walking trail and disc golf. Pictured, at right, is Jackie Wade, chamber executive director.
